Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a day program designed specifically to meet individual needs as an alternative to inpatient or residential care. Our PHP Program is an evidenced based drug and alcohol education and group processing. Individual therapy is provided as necessary.
Individuals with medical conditions may find they are prone to chronic relapse and need a higher level of care than Intensive Outpatient Treatment to maintain sobriety. Psychiatric conditions may also contribute to frequent relapses. The Bridges of San Diego PHP Program teaches skills to cope with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD. In addition, we utilize a 12-step model that includes recovery meetings to support abstinence and sobriety.
The Partial Hospitalization Program is 5 days per week from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM and is divided into 3-hour segments. At the close of each day, clients return to their homes or sober living environments equipped with coping tools to maintain a sober lifestyle.
